Ornella D'Agostino - Choregrapher

Artistic Director of Carovana SMI in Sardinia, Ornella trained at the School

of New Dance in Amsterdam, where she began to create mutimedia

performances, co-operating with film makers, painters, actors and musicians.

She is a passionate and political artist, and has served as President of the

Mediterranean Dance Foundation. Ornella was Artistic and Pedagogic

Director of the three-year multidisciplinary project, Art of Perception, which

took place in the cities of Bologna, Bari and Cagliari from 1988 to 2000.

Ornella's works has been of great inspiration to Signdance Collective.

She choreographically dramateurged Named Space, as well as engaging

Isolte and David on several projects in Sardinia and Italy, organising

performances, training and seminars.
